Our friends from the FTA have a few tips for us coming to Croom for the first time.

Just wanted to update you all on a few items.
There have been a couple of schedule updates from the initial schedule that was published on January 12. Fun in the Sun (Rounds 1 & 2) have been moved from Hardrock Off-road park in Ocala, Fl to Croom Motorcycle Area in Brooksville, Fl, and Rounds 5 & 6 have been moved to Curt Comer’s place in Elora, TN from Hollytree, Al.
Our annual awards banquet and Mark Moon Fun Trial will be held on February 20 & 21. Registration for both is open on the schedule section of the website.

The 2021 Championship Season starts two weeks after the banquet with Fun in the Sun hosted by the Florida Trials Association at the Croom Motorcycle Area in Brooksville, FL. Croom is in a Florida State Forest and a riding permit is required.
Riding permits are only available on-line at:

In addition to a new location this year, we will have on-line signup for Fun in the Sun. Expect on-line signup to open up in the next couple of weeks.

Great news! Due to a Herculean effort by François Saint Laurent, the STRA Vice-President, we now have on-line pre-registration and pre-payment available for the Trackrock event on March 18 and 19. This feature will be available for future events as well. Just go to the Schedule portion of this website and click on the date of the event. We hope this option will make registration for upcoming events more efficient and convenient.
With saddened hearts, we said farewell to the nicest, most amazing and inspirational man we’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. What a beautiful service. Mark Moon had to have been smiling down on “Team Moon” from heaven. Rest in peace, dear friend.
The service for Mark Moon was a beautiful one! Many of Mark’s friends and loved ones were in attendance. There were many Southeastern Trials Riders Association members present. Among those were STRA Vice President – Charlie Roberts, STRA Secretary Treasurer – Darrell Davis, STRA Youth Director – Tripp Almon, STRA Competition Director – Griff Shirley, and many STRA Members including: Randy Sharp, Reggie Winkle, Kris Gilbreath, Tim Cash, Sonny Roberts and Sam McNair all of which were either pallbearers or honorary pallbearers.
Mark Moon was such an inspiration to all who knew him and will be greatly missed!
