50/50 Peer Scoring System
-50/50 peer scoring – Approximately 50% of the riders will score in the a.m. while the other 50% ride. Then, those who rode in the a.m. will score in the p.m. and vice versa.
-The competition director will manage the 50/50 peer scoring system with assistance from the President and Vice President.
-Riders may ride every event; they are also required to work each event in a scoring capacity.
-No class will be divided for competition. Everyone in a specific class rides at the same time.
-Members need to ride and work six events for work credit, to receive year-end awards.
-30 Bonus points will be awarded to riders who have ridden six events, and worked eight or more times per year.
-Riders in different classes wishing to ride together should let the competition director know upon arrival at the event.
-No substitute workers, the rider members are responsible for their own work at the event
-The classes scoring first will be determined after sign up is completed. The Competition Director will decide this with assistance from the President and Vice President.
-There will be an opt out system in place to help accommodate riders with long distance travel.
-Because of the number of riders versus the number of sections, not every member will be required to work at each event. We have an “OPT out of working” system in place. Riders who want to OPT out Sunday should be sure to volunteer to work on Saturday.
-Two checkers will be used per section to expedite the events.
-The Trials Master and one Co-Trials master get work credit for each Trial that they promote (limit of two). They can receive bonus points for promoting a second event. They may NOT ride the events that they promoted.
-A member can only receive one work credit per day.
